                                                      ABOUT US

Set in over 5 acres of Medieval  "Ridge and Furrow" Lincolnshire farmland, Simon Field Farm is a small rural conservation project which was created in 2015.
New orchards were planted of traditional fruit trees including a Heritage orchard of Lincolnshire origin trees. Our mission is to bring back traditional varieties of apple, and other fruit, many of which are now endangered and their flavours are rarely tasted as they are not usually found in a supermarket.
We launched ‘The Old English Fruit Company’ to make tasty, rare and unusual apples including the Herrings Pippin, Bolinbrooke and Alford's own Philadelphia available to the public and to help the conservation of our national fruit heritage.
A Nut Wood has been planted with Walnuts, Hazel, Sweet Chestnut and Beech. The wood is to part of the Woodland Trusts "Plant A Tree For Those Who Fell" initiative to commemorate the fallen servicemen from Anderby during World War One. There were 8 people lost from the then, small hamlet, which represented a great loss to the local community. 8 large Beech trees have been planted in a V for Victory as a legacy to those who never returned.

During the Spring of 2016 the on site Farm Shop was opened selling produce direct from the farm, plus locally grown fruit, vegetables, plants, honey and ice cream. Artisan bakers, cheese makers, and jam and chutney  producers plus coffee brewers provided mouthwatering tasty treats and gifts for visitors to take home.
Local crafters supplied hand made soaps, beautifully wood turned bowls and gift ware. Hand crafted quirky signs, willow work, hand made candles and floral arrangements, plus much more to make the small shop into a wonderful Aladdins Cave of "All Things Lincolnshire"

The Main Site was trialed during 2016 and opened fully Easter 2017 A purpose built toilet and shower block has been acquired with free showers, constant hot water and hair drier points.
The tent site is a small site but it has soon become known as the happy, friendly site with only pitches it is not too busy and many friendships are made, when one pitch chatters to a neighbour. A Fully licensed site with the local authority and membership free. Opens Easter and it will remain open throughout the summer months until the end of October. Bookings can be made by contacting  the office, 01507 339 387,  e mailing simonfieldfarm@btinternet.com or our on line reservations system via www. pitchup.com (Simon Field Farm Anderby), where you will receive an immediate confirmation at the time of booking.

The Orchard Meadow Field will be open for families with younger children so that they are away from cars and the site entrance. It is also used as a Rally Field for exempted organisations rallies and meets. All enquiries welcome.

As a member of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust our interests lie in securing the existence and viability of the native farm animal and by breeding with the recognised genetic resources, we can contribute in the conservation of sheep, pigs, horses, cattle, goats and poultry.

Rural events, country skill workshops and displays are hoped to be held throughout the year and these will be advertised widely.
